Meet the Team: Ghaffar Hussain, Solicitor Partner

In this month's edition of our 'Meet the Team' blog we give you the chance to learn a little more about the background, specialisms and interests of Solicitor Partner, Ghaffar Hussain.

What first inspired you to become a Solicitor?

Law was introduced to me during the end of school where I began to think about my choices. I saw it as a challenging profession. As I read into the subject I realised that law is relevant to everyday life as we live within a legal framework which controls every aspect and important decisions of our lives. This curiosity regarding the framework and how it controls and plays an essential role in the changing nature of society and its people, inspired me to pursue this subject.

Which areas of Law do you specialise in?

My specialism lies in Residential property, Commercial Property and Wills and Probate.

What is the most satisfying aspect of your job?

Helping clients and being able to support my clients making tough decisions. Whether it's buying a property that they desire or finalising a will in accordance with their wishes. Happy clients give me satisfaction.

What is the proudest moment of your career so far?

My proudest moment was becoming a Partner. Within a year of qualifying I became an equity Partner at Wildings. It was a dream come true.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

A father of three children, much of my time gets taken up with my family - going to the park, or movies or just playing games. I also enjoy my time as well - sports, walking and reading.
